Check out this video from MicroStrategy.  Great idea for extending the use of your iPAD.  Using MicroStrategy powered business apps, now you can carry your information wherever you go, and throw it up onto the screen when you walk into a conference room.  All you need is an iPad or iPhone, a MicroStrategy Mobile powered App, and an Apple TV.  I guess now you have to carry around the Apple TV  !!!..

Bursting the Bubble of Assumptions about 'Sponsored Search'

In theory, it seems like a simple proposition for any advertiser who wants to reach target audiences by placing ads on pages that provide search-engine results: Bid high enough to win the top spot in these "sponsored search" listings, and you will attract more customers -- and generate higher profits. No wonder more and more advertisers are paying ever-increasing prices to rank higher in the listings, which appear alongside the results to queries entered in a search engine. According to eMarketer.com, 40% of the projected $34 billion that will be spent on Internet advertising in 2014 will consist of "sponsored search."

Bloomberg video highlighting the pending announcement from Apple

Apple plans to make a new product announcement on March 7, 2012.  Speculation is this will be the iPad 3, the first product offered since the passing of CEO Steve Jobs.  As Apples hits the $500B market capitalization, this could be the turning point for Apple who's greatest challenge will be to fend off lower cost products like Kindle or new Samsung Android tablets that offer more robust, broader functionality like a USB and consumer appeal.  Meanwhile our shiny Canadian Research In Motion continues to fumble along with more lipstick than substance as the Playbook latest vdersion finally has email functionality..  a novel idea since that was how RIM got started in the first place. Their form size is marginal as the market is accustomed to the larger 10" + tablets offering great real estate.  Let's wait and see...  here is a Bloomberg video highlighting the pending announcement from Apple.
